This two-day intensive will cover the basics of the recording and mixing process from start to finish. Designed for people with little or no background in the recording field, the approach is simple, clear, practical and fun. Topics covered include basic signal flow, recognizing different connectors and cabling, microphone usage, mixing console usage, overdubbing, and mixdown techniques. Each student will have an opportunity to have a hands-on role in completing a simple recording project.
